Power Yoga
Power yoga incorporates standing poses, inversions, balance poses, lifts and deep stretching into a dynamic flow. This class is specially designed to tone, strengthen, and energize the body while cleansing the internal organs and lymphatic system. You will sweat, please bring a towel and water. Note: Yoga is unique in that all poses can be modified according to the student's particular needs and goals, this will be a mixed level class. (Light Power is a less intense version of this class)
ParaShakti Flow
The only class of its kind, ParaShakti Yoga will awaken your divine energy, tone your muscles and de-stress your psyche. Using the breath as a beat; we rhythmically weave the postures into a dance creating a seamless vinyasa flow where you sweat your cares away. Note: This is an intense workout and we move from posture to posture quickly so a strong background in yoga is needed, call with any questions.
Hatha Flow
An energetic but gentle class. This method of sequences uses fluid movements to link up gentle stretches and strengthening postures so the joints are nourished while the muscles are toned. Appropriate for all levels excepting only those with serious injuries; this will be a mixed level class.
Gentle Yoga
A slow class appropriate for all ages and abilities, designed to improve flexibility and health while calming the mind and reducing stress.
Hot Mamas
A series of 1 hour Pre and Post – natal yoga classes for the active mommy who wants to stay fit throughout and after her pregnancy. Call for more info.
Core Strength & Core Power and Balance Class
Through deep abdominal exercises and focused balance poses, we will learn to engage the core for more stability, strength, and poise.
Kids Class
A fun-filled one hour class designed to improve concentration and coordination, these classes use animal poses and noises to release tension and build strength and flexibility. ending with a guided relaxation, the kids leave relaxed and in good spirits. Note: Yoga is an excellent tool for children with ADD but a private class may be recommended depending on the child.
Light Power Yoga
An easier version of our power class geared to beginners or any student wishing for a vigorous, but not quite so vigorous workout. Note: Yoga is unique in that all poses and practices can be modified according to the student's particular needs and goals, so no student need be frightened by the title "power".
Mommy & Me
Finally, a place where babies can be babies and are not expected to be very short adults!!!! Mommy and me is a one hour postnatal classes where babies are welcome (but not required if you would like to come alone) and we work specifically on getting our core strength back. All classes allow the babies to participate and include baby massage and a guided meditation.
